From Marketing Maven to Art Entrepreneur
Crystal did her bachelor's degree in Hong Kong in marketing and then pursued her passion for marketing and obtained her Master's degree in Marketing from the University of New South Wales. With her expertise and keen interest in toys and art, Crystal's career path took an unexpected turn when she decided to become a full-time mom. However, her love for art and her entrepreneurial spirit eventually led her to co-found LabX+ with two like-minded friends.
Crystal worked at Kmart Australia as part of their sourcing team, specialising in the toys category. Her time at Kmart allowed her to gain valuable experience in the retail industry, honing her skills in product sourcing, market analysis, and consumer trends. Crystal's dedication and passion for her work got her interested in retail.
The Birth of LabX+
Driven by her passion for art, Crystal joined forces with three friends who shared her vision. Together, they founded LabX+, an art-focused venture that aimed to provide a platform for artists to showcase their work and connect with art enthusiasts. Labx+ became a hub for creativity, fostering a vibrant community of artists and art lovers.
